British Science Week is a fantastic opportunity to get your kids more involved in scientific activities, create excitement around STEM subjects and highlight the career opportunities in this exciting area.
BSW 2018 lasts for 10 days, starting on Friday 9th March and finishing on Sunday 18th March. Events in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM subjects) will be taking place all over the country for people of all ages, not just primary schools.
BSW is organised by the British Science Association. It is funded by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS). Anyone is allowed to organise an event so there are a huge variety of activities run for many different reasons. Researchers, students community group leaders, teachers, librarians, parents, professionals etc may run an activity for publicity, to encourage learning, support their curriculum, gain valuable experience or just be part of a large campaign.
Why not book a JuniorSTEM Lego Robotics workshop as the highlight of your science week activities? A session covers so many aspects of Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths in such a fun, engaging and practical way.
