This is a great model for all levels as it is simple to build. Younger children can add their own simple ideas while older children enjoy constructing complex designs to complete the base model.
Basic
The children are taught how to make a simple Lego chassis with a WeDo motor which drives the rear wheels using a pulleys and a belt. The children then write algorithms to control their car before designing the body with their own creative Lego designs.
With Anti-crash sensor
As above but with a Lego WeDo 2.0 motion sensor which detects objects and can be programmed to avoid them.
