Basic
Suitable for Y3, Y4 and Y5. The children are taught how to make a Lego fairground with a motor which turns the carousel using a gear combination. The children then write algorithms using the WeDo 2.0 APP to control their fairground and have the opportunity to upgrade/improve the carousel with their own creative Lego designs.
Plus Sensor
Suitable for Y5/6. As above but with a Lego WeDo 2.0 motion sensor. The children are taught how the sensor inputs information into the computer and how to program it to control the speed of the rotating carousel.
